Tattoo ink particles are too large for the bodys immune system to remove naturally. This is because the tattoo ink sits in the dermal layer deep in the skin and is locked away by a wall of collegen fibre. However, our laser can produce very short bursts of high energy laser light. The light is absorbed by the large ink particals generating heat that shatters the tattoo pigment into minute particles. The body is then able to remove these particles  through the lymphatic system.
